We entered Slovenia from the South and drove straight to the airport where we met our friend Latham. We spent the first night in Ljubljana. It was a charming city set on the banks of the river. A must for anyone visiting that part of the world.
On the second day we drove down to the South to visit the largest cave system in Europe. It was very impressive with a reasonable sized river running through it.
We then drove back North and dropped Latham back at the airport before venturing north to Lake Bled, one of the most charming places in Eastern Europe. It has a lake with a church on the island and a castle on the hill - very fairytale.
