The four Butlers had a 4 week holiday in Europe. We flew into Zurich where we picked up our car, affectoniately known as Heidie due to its female satnav system.

For the first few days we stayed with Martin in Basel. We made day trips to Lucerne and the Alsace. From there we drove through the Black Forest to Karlsruhe to visit Alex. She then joined us on a day trip to Heidelberg and on to Erlangen. We had a great weekend in Erlangen with Martin, Alex, and Latham.

We then flew from Munich to Athens where we caught a ferry to Sifnos- a small Greek Island. We swam, looked at white churches, and drank Ouzo. After ten days relaxing we went back to Athens to see the ancient city.
