Our first stop in Iran was Bam to see the abandoned city Arg-e-Bam. Then after spending a day in Kerman we went to Shiraz. Unfortunately no wine is made here anymore but they have heaps of elaborate mosques, monuments, and the 2500yr old city of Persepolis

We then spent a few days in Yazd before heading to Esfahan with its beautiful town square and surrounding mosques.

On the way to the Turkish Border we stopped in Tehran for 24hrs. Its a huge sprawling city. Only worth visiting to see the museums.
